In 1997, Doyen Consulting, Inc. was founded.
After nearly 13 years of installations, support, and planning of Healthcare Information Technology projects, the last eight of which were in the office of Director/CIO, I decided to make a change. Over the years, I had managed a wide variety of application installations and decided to create a consultant company that specialized in Project Management. Doyen's growth over the years has not been Project Management centric, but much more widespread than I had originally planned. SMS Invision builds, Orders Team Leaders, HBOC upgrades and installations, Management Engineering and Process designs, and Interim Management are examples of the types of engagements that Doyen has fulfilled.

Doyen Consulting is a midwestern company based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. To keep abreast of available resource skillsets, we have forged meaningful relationships with many smaller and independent consultant companies. These companies work very well together at assisting each other to co-exist and sometimes operate as a virtual company.
